Skin Societé Membership contract service agreement 

Terms and conditions

1. AGREEMENT SUMMARY

a) You, the client, are entering into a service agreement for the delivery of in-clinic treatments & membership services provided by Skin Societé.
b) The term/length of this agreement is for a MINIMUM of 1 month that is ongoing and will AUTOMATICALLY RENEW, subject to cancellation as per terms & conditions.
c) Fees and/or charges payable by the client under this agreement include the following:
i) Monthly (or otherwise agreed frequency) direct debit payments of AUD$100.00 (amount may be adjusted based on the frequency of payment) from a nominated debit card or credit card.
ii) Above direct debit payments are solely for delivering the membership benefits Clause a) of the membership contract agreement summary.
d) Additional fees and/or charges that are not included in this service agreement may include, yet are not limited to:
i) Cancellation, suspension, and other additional membership fees.

2. WAIVER FORM

You agree to sign all necessary waiver forms provided by Skin Societé received in relation to treatments and understand the associated risks have been explained prior to treatment.

3. MINIMUM AGE

We strictly do not allow individuals under the age of 18 to sign up for a Skin Societé membership or receive any treatments within our clinics due to medical insurance reasons.

4. PAYMENT

Membership fees are paid in advance monthly, by a valid debit or credit card.

5. MEETING YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

a) You must make sure:
i) Your account can accept direct debits
ii) There are sufficient funds in your account on the payment day.
iii) Update payment details 30 days prior to debit/credit card expiring.
b) For membership(s) in your name, you must make sure that the payment method you choose remains valid for the length of your agreement. This includes third-party accounts. If the details you give us fail, you are liable for all resulting fees. You should update your details and are obligated to complete your minimum term of payments.

6. FAILED OR DECLINED PAYMENTS

a) If a monthly membership payment fails, access to membership benefits will be temporarily paused until the payment is received. We make three automatic re-attempts to collect the payment within a week after the due date. If payment isn’t received within 7 days of the due date, the membership will be automatically cancelled, and access to accumulated credit will not be available upon reactivating the membership.
b) Skin Societé will make a reasonable effort to advise you on the status of the failed payments by letting you know beforehand by:
i) Initially advising via email that your payment has failed.
ii) Failing this being corrected, we will contact you via phone/SMS.

 7. INCREASE OF MEMBERSHIP FEES

a) Skin Societé reserves the right to increase your fees with prior notice. Skin Societé will make a reasonable effort to advise regarding updated fees 28 days beforehand in writing to you via the email address provided at sign-up.
b) Skin Societé will consider that you have received our letter or email on the second business day after it is sent. Where Skin Societé has made a reasonable effort to let you know about a fee increase, you authorise us to increase any debits from your nominated account.

8. CHANGES TO YOUR AGREEMENT

a) Skin Societé may sometimes add to, change or amend our terms and conditions. This includes changing the opening and closing hours, our treatments and membership fees/structure/offerings. The most up-to-date terms and conditions always apply. Skin Societé will give you at least 28 days’ notice of any changes. If Skin Societé does not fulfil our obligations to you, you may be able to cancel your membership.
b) Skin Societé may, during periods, have temporary closures. If we deem this to have substantially reduced our ability to provide our service to you, Skin Societé will amend your 1-month term and next membership fee due date, to account for the time of which services were unavailable.

9. SUSPENSION AND PAUSES

You are unable to suspend or pause your membership and monthly treatments are not able to be received in the following months if they have not been redeemed in the month of issue.

10. CANCELLATIONS

Minimum 30 days’ notice if the initial contract term has not been completed by providing written notification via email to the Skin Societé clinic where your membership is activated. Your clinic will then schedule your membership to deactivate 30 days from the day of notice. You will be charged your monthly membership during this cooling-off period where you will still have access to membership benefits for 30 days after your final membership monthly fee payment has been processed. You will also have access to your total accumulated credit for 3 months from your cancellation date but can only be used at your chosen clinic.

11. TERMS OF SERVICE

Standard terms of service apply to all patients, including members and is applicable to all treatments. Subject to the treatment booked, you may require a complimentary consultation with a Skin Societé cosmetic injector or dermal therapist to determine if the patient is suitable for the treatment. A $50 deposit may be requested for your booking, which can be redeemed on your treatment or product. Should our Injector determine that the treatment is not right for you, or if you decide not to proceed, we will refund your deposit. If rescheduling or cancelling, please provide at least 24-hour notice. If a patient cancels the appointment within 24 hours or is a no-show, the deposit may be forfeited.

12. BENEFITS PROCESS

You are entitled to a range of benefits in your Skin Societé membership including treatments. These treatments are available to be redeemed in the calendar month and not tied to your payment date. Monthly benefits that are not redeemed in the calendar month do not carry forward into the next month and are subject to booking availability. Skin Societé will make reasonable effort to provide availability for membership treatments if you make reasonable efforts to book in advance but cannot guarantee availability if not booked in reasonable advance.

13. CREDIT PROCESS

Each month, you will receive a $50 credit that can be used towards any product or treatment at your selected Skin Societé clinic. The credit is allocated on the day following your monthly payment fee is successfully processed. Your credit accumulates every month, with no limit, and doesn’t expire during your membership. Your credit is only redeemable on treatments and products at your chosen clinic where you signed up as a member. You cannot use your credit for the payment of membership fees or gift vouchers. If you decide to cancel your membership by providing 30 days’ notice, any remaining credit will still be accessible at your selected clinic for 3 months from the date of cancellation.

14. TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP TO OTHER INDIVIDUAL

Your membership or benefits, including credit, are non-transferable. These cannot be transferred to another individual during your membership or when you have cancelled your membership and have remaining credit available.

15. TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP TO OTHER SKIN SOCIETÉ CLINICS

Your membership, or benefits, including credit, cannot be used nor transferred to other Skin Societé clinics and are exclusive to only be redeemed at the clinic your membership started. If you wish to sign up for a membership at a different Skin Societé clinic, you will need to cancel your membership with 30 days’ written notice to your current chosen clinic then proceed to sign up for a membership at your newly chosen clinic.
