A topical numbing cream is applied before every treatment, so most clients describe the sensation as a mild vibration or light scratching. Comfort levels are very manageable, and our therapists adjust the device settings to suit your sensitivity.
For general skin rejuvenation and glow, 3 sessions is a great starting point. For concerns like acne scarring, pigmentation, or fine lines, 6-12 sessions deliver the most significant structural change. Your dermal therapist will create a personalised plan during your first visit.
Expect 1-3 days of mild redness, similar to a light sunburn. Most clients are comfortable returning to work and social activities within 24 hours. Makeup can typically be applied the following day. We provide a full aftercare protocol with every treatment.
Sessions are spaced 4-6 weeks apart. This gives your skin’s collagen cycle enough time to complete — new collagen fibres take approximately 28 days to fully mature. Rushing between sessions won’t improve results and can compromise healing.
Yes. Unlike some laser treatments, skin needling is safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types (I-VI) because it doesn’t use heat or light energy. Your therapist will assess your skin during a consultation to ensure the treatment is appropriate for you.
We treat the full face, neck, décolletage (chest), and hands. Each area can be treated individually or combined in a single session. Neck and chest treatments are particularly effective for sun damage and crépey skin.
