Skin Societe Membership Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all Skin Societe Memberships purchased, activated, or redeemed in Western Australia. By enrolling in a Membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Australian Consumer Law contained in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
1. Membership Inclusions
Each active Membership provides:
- 1x Skin Peel or Facial per calendar month
- 1x LED Light Therapy session per calendar month
- 5% discount on all retail skincare products purchased in-clinic
- $50 clinic credit per month, commencing from Month 2 of membership.
2. Usage Conditions
- The monthly Skin Peel/Facial and LED sessions are valid only within the relevant calendar month.
- Treatments do not roll over if unused.
- If a booked treatment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, rescheduled within 24 hours, or missed without notice, that month’s entitlement is forfeited.
- All treatments remain subject to a clinician’s professional assessment and your individual suitability. Skin Societe reserves the right to refuse or alter treatment if deemed clinically necessary.
3. Membership Credit
- The $50 monthly credit:
- is not redeemable for cash;
- is not transferrable between clinics or individuals;
- must be used within 3 months of the membership ending.
- After 3 months from cancellation or expiry, any unused credit will automatically lapse.
4. Transfers & Clinic Locations
- Memberships are linked to the clinic of purchase and are not transferrable between Skin Societe locations.
- Credits and treatments must be redeemed at the nominated clinic.
5. Payments, Renewal, and Cancellation
- Membership fees are payable via authorised payment methods, and billed in advance on a monthly basis.
- Memberships continue until cancelled by you in writing or terminated by Skin Societe in accordance with these Terms.
- Members may cancel by providing at least 14 days’ written notice prior to their next billing cycle.
- Memberships cannot be placed “on hold” or suspended unless otherwise permitted by management in writing.
6. Consumer Rights
- Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- If a service is not provided with due care and skill, or is not fit for purpose, you are entitled to the remedies available under the ACL.
- Refunds will not otherwise be provided for change of mind or failure to use monthly entitlements.
7. Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skin Societe excludes liability for any loss, damage, or injury relating to your membership, except where caused by negligence or breach of statutory duty.
- You acknowledge that individual results from treatments may vary, and Skin Societe makes no guarantee of outcome.
8. Amendments
- Skin Societe may vary these Terms, membership pricing, or inclusions by providing at least 30 days’ written notice.
- Continued use of the Membership after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia for any dispute arising under these Terms.
