Rockingham
Registered nurse is a protected title under the National Law; registration can be verified on the Ahpra public register. Dermal therapists and clinicians are qualified in skin and laser treatments and are not registered health practitioners. In line with Australian regulations we do not name, price or describe prescription-only treatments online. Your consultation is with a registered health practitioner who will discuss the options appropriate for you, including risks, alternatives and costs. And you may or may not be prescribed anything.
Our story
Built on a consultation, not a menu.
Skin Societe started in Perth with a simple position: people deserve an honest assessment before anyone suggests a treatment. That is still the whole model.
The beginning
Skin Societe opens in Perth with a single premise: the consultation is the product. No menus pushed, no pressure.
The coast
Cottesloe becomes the flagship. Registered nurses leading every cosmetic consultation, dermal clinicians leading skin and laser.
North & south
Karrinyup and Rockingham follow. Clinics stay owner-operated so the person who assessed you is the person who sees you next time.
Ellenbrook & Mandurah
The group reaches the hills and the Peel region. The Inner Circle makes monthly skin care the default rather than the exception.
2025
New national cosmetic advertising rules arrive. We rebuild how we talk, concern-first, consultation-led, risks in the open, because it is how we already worked.
Media, partnership or franchise enquiries: hello@skinsociete.com.au. We do not work with influencers or ambassadors on treatment content, in line with Australian advertising guidelines. Careers: email us with the role in the subject line.
What we believe
The best consultation might end with “not yet.”
01
Registered clinicians
Cosmetic consultations and treatments by registered nurses. Skin and laser by qualified dermal clinicians. Registration numbers on our Team page.
02
Medical oversight
Prescription-only treatments are only ever prescribed after a real-time consultation with a prescriber. Every time, no exceptions, no text-message prescribing.
03
Consultation-first, always
Suitability, including psychological readiness, is assessed before anything happens. If a treatment will not meet your expectations, we say so.
04
Conservative by design
Plan in stages. Treat less. Review at two weeks. Adjust. The people who know you have had something done should be your practitioner and you.
Any cosmetic procedure is a serious decision with risks as well as benefits. Individual results vary. Every treatment page lists risks and recovery, and your practitioner will go through them with you before you consent to anything. Adults only.
Frequently asked
Asked often.
Booking
Online, 24/7, through your clinic's booking page. Or call your clinic directly. A $50 reservation fee secures your appointment and is credited to your visit.
No. Anyone 18 or over can book a consultation directly.
Whichever is most convenient. Cottesloe, Karrinyup, Rockingham, Ellenbrook or Mandurah. Pricing is the same at every clinic. A few treatments are clinic-specific (vascular laser, acne light therapy, cosmetic tattooing) and we will direct you to the right one.
Please give at least 48 hours' notice so we can offer the time to someone else. Late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the reservation fee. See our cancellation policy for details.
Yes. Gift cards are available from $50 to $1,000 and can be used on any treatment or skincare at any clinic.
Consultations
About 30 minutes with a registered nurse. We ask what is bothering you, assess your whole face for structure, surface and volume, and explain what is contributing to your concern. You leave with a written plan, realistic timelines and transparent pricing. There is no obligation to proceed, and some consultations end with a plan to do nothing yet.
Australian regulations (TGA and Ahpra) do not allow prescription-only treatments to be advertised, named or priced publicly. Your practitioner gives you full, transparent pricing in consultation before you decide anything. Skin and laser treatments are priced openly on their pages.
Sometimes, if you are assessed as suitable and have had adequate time to consider the information. For anyone under 18, a mandatory 7-day cooling-off period applies and payment is deferred until after it.
No. Our process is built to educate, not to pressure. We will tell you if we think you should wait, try a skin-first approach, or do nothing at all.
Cosmetic consultations and treatments are performed by registered nurses under medical oversight. Skin and laser treatments are performed by qualified dermal clinicians. Every practitioner's registered title, and registration number where applicable, is listed on our Team page.
Treatments
Our approach is conservative by design: plan in stages, treat less, review, adjust. The aim is that you look well, not treated.
Most treatments are very tolerable. Numbing is used for skin needling, resurfacing and tattoo removal, and comfort measures are available for cosmetic treatments. Your practitioner will tell you exactly what to expect.
It depends entirely on the treatment. From none (LED, facials, most cosmetic treatments) to a week or more (deeper resurfacing). Every treatment page has a Risks & Recovery section, and your consultation will be specific to you.
Many are. IPL is not suitable for deeper skin tones, but Q-Switch, vascular laser, LED, light therapy, needling and peels can be adjusted for all tones. Your consultation will be honest about what is and is not appropriate.
Many treatments are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Always tell your practitioner; we will plan around it.
Yes. All treatments are available to men, and we offer hair-loss consultations specifically.
Membership
A month-to-month skin membership: $100 a month for one professional peel or facial, one LED session, $50 of banked clinic credit each month, priority booking and 5% off skincare. No lock-in.
Yes. Cancel with notice before your next billing date, no fees. Pauses are available for travel or life events; speak to your clinic before your billing date.
Safety
Every treatment carries risks. From temporary redness and bruising to uncommon but serious complications. Each treatment page lists risks and recovery, and your practitioner will explain them in full before you consent. Any cosmetic procedure is a serious decision and individual results vary.
Only after a real-time consultation with a prescriber, in person or by video, every time. Asynchronous or text-based prescribing is not permitted, and we do not do it.
Cosmetic treatments are for adults. Anyone under 18 must have a suitability assessment, a 7-day cooling-off period and deferred payment, and we encourage independent advice.
Tell us. Every treatment includes a complimentary review, and adjustments are made where clinically appropriate. If something is wrong outside hours, call your clinic's number. Emergency contact details are provided after treatment.
Policies
At least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations, same-day reschedules and no-shows forfeit the $50 reservation fee. Arriving more than 10 minutes late may mean rescheduling.
Refunds are not provided for change of mind. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are unaffected. See our full policy.
Yes. Clinical records and photographs are stored securely and never used in marketing without your separate, written consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
